A precise measurement of the water volume can be achieved by simply adding a flowmeter on your snowmaking system. Snomax is using the BE6300 series transit-time clamp-on flowmeter from Flowmotion Systems.

Simple and easy to install in the pump house (just clamp it on the water pipe, no welding, no cutting required), it is ready in minutes. When the system starts to pump water, the flowmeter will send an output signal directly to the Snomax injection system, that will run autonomously and adjust precisely the injection rate.
